How to Submit your Work to The Dominant's View

When submitting an article or story to The Dominant's View, please keep the following details in mind to make our job easier.

IMPORTANT: due to the most recent computer virus problems attachments will not be accepted unless we have given you the ok to send them.

Text material should be sent in plain text in the body of an email. Please query us prior to submitting images.

Thank you.

Text should be submitted in one of the following ways:
A .txt document.
An .rtf document.
In the body of an email.

Please type single spaced, on line space between paragraphs, and do not indent your paragraphs.


Images for TDV
(this includes images to go along with articles, amateur photos, reviews, and art etc.)
If your images are watermarked, please include a clean copy of the image for thumbnail purposes.
All full sized images will include your watermark but we need clean images for thumbnails and front and index page purposes.
Images must be submitted in either .jpg or .gif format.
You may send them in a zip file if you prefer.
Full size images should already be sized suitably for viewing on the web.

Submitting your bio/photo/banner:

Your bio should not be more than 75 words. We will return your bio to you for editing if it is too long. If you require assistance please ask - we'll be happy to assist you.

Your picture will be cut to size for the zine and turned into a black and white image. It should be sent in .jpg or .gif format.

Your banner should not be larger than:
70 pixels high and 500 pixels wide

It should be no smaller than:
50 pixels high and 400 pixels wide

If your banner is outside these parameters we may need to alter it - we will contact you prior to making any changes but please understand that the format is important to the overall look of The Dominant's View and therefore we cannot always accommodate banners that do not fit our specs.
